Potential Space for High School Program Workshops

Today, we went to tour the classrooms in DePaul's College of Computing and Digital Media as a possible place to host the High School Program workshops in September.  It seems like a good space! We at CISCFF will keep you updated on our progress.

Targeting Youth To Drive Change

The Huffington Post and YSA are featuring the "25 Most Powerful and Influential Young People in the World" daily to emphasize the powerful influence of youth.  With CISCFF's mission to showcase the impact of driving social change through film, the CISCFF High School Program embraces the voice of youth to act as change agents. Take a look at the amazing work Huffington Post is featuring!  It's good to see others recognizing the great work youth do every day in our communities.

In the coming weeks, CISCFF is going to speak to New Trier Township High School's Integrated Global Study School (IGSS) about opportunities to participate in the CISCFF Student Advisory Board and apply for the high school program, which is taking place this September. Yesterday, IGSS students attended the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates.  We look forward to meeting with IGSS students who have illustrated an interest in social change.
